Hakone Yuryo is open 365 days a year. However, please note that we sometimes close for facility maintenance.

Parking is free. ( 92 cars )
Please note that parking spaces are limited.

Bringing in food and drink is not permitted.

Drunk customers, customers who belong to anti - social gangs, and their associates, and customers with tattoos ( including seals ) are not permitted to enter Hakone Yuryo.

Pets are not allowed at Hakone Yuryo. There is a dog hotel in Hakone Iriuda.

You can use only the restaurant "Irorisaryo Hachiri" or relaxation space "Hogushian Yururuka."
Hakone Yuryo has large Public baths, private open - air baths, a restaurant, and relaxation spaces. Each facility is independent so you can use only the ones you wish to experience.
*Since the relaxation space "Hogushidokoro Zaraku" is located in the Public baths, you will be charged for using the Public baths.

Yes, customers who use wheelchairs can also use Hakone Yuryo.
There is a "universal design" room in the private open - air bath "Hanare Yuya Kaden." The facility is step - free up to the room and customers who use wheelchairs can access up to the entrance in their wheelchair. The Public baths “Honden Yurakuan Oyu” is also accessible for customers who use wheelchairs up to the entrance, but it is not permitted to use wheelchairs thereafter.

The Public baths "Honden Yurakuan Oyu" is open weekdays 10:00 - 20:00, weekends and public holidays 10:00 - 21:00. Final admission will be one hour before closing.

There is no particular time limit during opening hours.

The following customers aren't permitted to bathe in the public baths:

• Children aged 7 & under *Please use the private open - air bath "Hanare Yuya Kaden."
• Person wearing diapers
• Intoxicated person
• Person with tattoos
• *Mixed bathing of the guests aged 7 yrs old & older in the public baths is not allowed.
• *We may refuse to admit customers who act in ways that disturb other customers or who are judged to give an unpleasant impression.
• *Wheelchairs cannot be used in the Public baths "Honden Yurakuan Oyu."

Yes, there is a sauna. We also offer the Loyly service.

Loyly Service Information

Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hair dryers, cotton swabs, face wash foam, skin lotion, milky lotion, fcotton puffs ( female Public baths )

There is no towel rental at Hakone Yuryo. You can purchase a towel at the reception desk.
( Bath towel 550 JPY, face towel 300 JPY )

You can rent indoor clothes at the reception for 300 JPY.

There is a break room in the public baths "Honden Yurakuan Oyu." Besides the tatami mat room, there is also a reading room complete with the largest manga section in the Hakone area and a nap room where you can swing in a hammock and sleep soundly.

There are three types.
· Ichi - No - Maki: 18 square meters · Ni - No - Maki: 24 square meters · San - No - Maki: 32 square meters

Private open - air Bath “Hanare Yuya Kaden” Information

The baths have different capacities.
· Ichi - No - Maki: Up to 2 people · Ni - No - Maki, San - No - Maki: Up to 4 people

You can use them for as long as you like for 2 hours or more during opening hours. You can extend your time in blocks of 30 minutes.

You can eat anything that you bought in Hakone Yuryo. However, it is not permitted to bring or have delivered food from the restaurant "Irorisaryo Hachiri."

We accept reservations over the phone and reservation Form one month before use.

Persons wearing diapers are not permitted to bathe.
Unaccompanied customers under 18 years of age are not permitted to bathe.

Yes, free Wi - Fi is available.

No, we do not have PCs available for rent.

Reservations can only be made on the day of your arrival. (reservations cannot be made in advance)

RELAXATION Information

For “Hogushian Yururuka” and the public baths “Hogushidokoro Zaraku,” we will ask you about your current physical condition.
If you have high blood pressure, poor health, allergies, are seeing a doctor, are taking medicine, or are pregnant, please be sure to tell us when you make your reservation. We may not be able to offer your preferred treatment.
Please refrain from consuming alcohol before receiving treatment since this will place a burden on your body. In addition, for pregnant customers, we only offer facial treatment or shoulder/head relaxation.

Reservations can be made from one month in advance. However, reservation is not possible between 12:00 and 14:00 on weekends and holidays.
* Depending on the date, we may not be able to accept reservations for the whole day.

We have a menu for children called "Warabe."

Hakone Tozan Line "Hakone - Yumoto Station" is the nearest station.

Access Information

We offer a free shuttle bus from Hakone - Yumoto Station. It runs daily approximately every 10 - 15 minutes. ( Time required: approximately 3 minutes )

We do not offer accommodation.

We do not provide cell phone chargers.

There are no public telephones at Hakone Yuryo.

Diaper changing tables are available in the multipurpose toilets. There is no nursing room at Hakone Yuryo.

We only accept single payment ( not payment in installments ).
